How do we use the plugin? a links is all i need! Thanks
The plugin page shows how. Let me know if you have questions.
It would be great to see a Magento icon being included.
That’d be a good request to make to the Font Awesome author!
Hello, is it possible to use the “spin” property
in the Shortcode option?
thanx
Yes, but it’s a bit of a workaround, not officially supported yet. You can add “icon-spin” inside the “name” shortcode attribute. For example:
[icon name="icon-refresh icon-spin"]
Official support will be coming in a later version.
No WiFi 🙁
No, but that would be a good request to make from the Font Awesome author!
In the meantime, you can achieve a similar thing by using the RSS icon and rotating it a bit. Something like this:
<i class=”icon-rss” style=”display: inline-block; -webkit-transform: rotate(-45deg); -moz-transform: rotate(-45deg); -ms-transform: rotate(-45deg);”></i>
Any idea how I can integrate the Font Awesome More set into my existing webpage? Currently, I have CDN link (HTML) in my HTML file that links to the Font Awesome set but am having difficulty figuring out the Font Awesome More integration. Thanks in advance!
As far as I know, there is no CDN for Font Awesome More, only Font Awesome. You’ll have to download my plugin and extract out both the font files and css files for Font Awesome More and reference the CSS file in your website’s header.
I’m assuming you’re asking because you’re not using WordPress. If you are using WordPress, then the answer is just use my plugin 🙂
Please, how to insert theme in the top menu ?
Would also love to see a Joomla Icon
I don’t create the icons, I just load the icons from the Font Awesome Project into WordPress. You can request new icons directly to the Font Awesome creator here: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/community/#requesting-new-icons
I installed the plugin is there anything addition that I need to do? I can’t find it
You can find example usage here: http://blog.webguysaz.com/font-awesome-more-icons-wordpress-plugin/
There are no extra settings screens that appear. Also, WP3.9 changed TinyMCE significantly, so there is no longer a drop-down on the Posts page. I’m looking into an update, but it might be a bit before I can get to it.
how to color an icon? possible?
You can color icons just like you would any other text/font in CSS. Just use the standard CSS “color” property.
Tried to donate, but received this message from PayPal: We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the “Ask Seller a Question” link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at http://www.paypal.com.
strange…the email address is accurate and it seems to be working for me. ???
please add blackberry logo…. TIA
I don’t create the icons. That is done by the guy who builds Font Awesome itself. You can request new icons here: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/community/#requesting-new-icons
How can I add clock-o icon? I have tried a lot, but still didn’t manage.
I am waiting for your reply.
Thank you!
My plugin is currently using Font Awesome 3.2.1, not Font Awesome 4+. So the equivalent of the “clock-o” icon for the older version is “icon-time”.
Thank you very much! That worked well!
Any plans to update the plugin with the latest Font Awesome icon additions?
Yes. However, I have a lot of high priority items right now so I am looking for help with this plugin. It is on GitHub now if you or any developer you know want to help out! I would LOVE to have some help to keep it going.
